Or, the continuous moments of being ridiculed or ignored have added up to impact your view of yourself. Maybe you’ve had a physical experience, such as being in a car accident, that has left you feeling hypervigilant and anxious. Perhaps recurring experiences of racism, homophobia or the patriarchy have left you deeply wounded and unsure of how to trust this world and the people in it.

We’ll help you:

We’ll teach you the neurobiology behind your flight, fight, and freeze responses and help you learn to track your own nervous system states. Together, we’ll create resources and teach you coping skills to move out of a survival response and into a place of safe connection.

We use inner child work to help you get in touch with the parts of you that are holding your pain. Together, we will offer compassion, nurturance, and protection to the parts of you who always deserved to be deeply loved.

Once we create a set of resources to help keep you feeling connected, regulated, and empowered, we will dive into the work of trauma healing together. We’re trained in modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, AEDP, and somatic therapy so that we can help you heal on a deep level.
