Homecoming is a 6-week, in-person therapy group designed to support adult individuals in cultivating self-compassion, emotional awareness, and greater somatic awareness. Through gentle, embodied practices and guided reflection, participants are invited to slow down, notice their internal experience, and begin relating to themselves with greater kindness and curiosity. This group is especially geared towards individuals who experience a harsh inner critic, chronic stress or burnout, emotional overwhelm, and disconnection from their bodies.

Led by our Master’s-level clinicians, Baylee Sheridan and Brooke Schildroth, Homecoming offers a supportive and inclusive space to explore and cultivate deeper self-compassion, emotional regulation, self-understanding, and relationships with others. The group integrates experiential exercises, discussion, and practical tools that participants can apply to daily life. All identities, bodies, and abilities are welcome! This group may be a good fit for clients seeking a relational, body-aware approach to therapy alongside or in addition to individual counseling.

The Details:

  • Wednesdays, March 11 - April 8

  • 5:00-6:30 pm

  • Meeting in-person at Kin Counseling Services in West Wash Park

  • $20 per session, Medicaid insurance accepted
