You may remember a time when you felt more present, more confident, more aligned – more you. Maybe overwhelm and disconnection have become your “norm”, and you feel lost in the sea of self-doubt and stuckness.

I’m Avery (she/her), and I support humans in reconnecting to their authentic self and accessing their own internal wisdom. I work with individuals seeking to embrace and empower their identity, cultivate self-trust and compassion, and feel more present and engaged in their lives. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, overwhelm, depression, or stuckness, my goal is to support you in exploring and honoring your internal world through creating a safe, nurturing, and collaborative space.

In our work together, we’ll slow down and gently explore somatic sensations, building a sense of safety and deepening your understanding of how your nervous system communicates with you. With curiosity and compassion, we’ll explore your story and how it has shaped the way you move through the world. Together, we will deepen self-trust and develop tools to help you feel more present and engaged in your life, moving toward a greater sense of alignment. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, with your autonomy respected every step of the way.

I am dedicated to helping people embrace their authenticity.

I deeply value building an authentic, human-to-human connection within the therapeutic space, aiming to create a warm, nurturing, and fully judgment-free environment where you can show up and be met exactly as you are. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, drawing from a blend of somatic techniques, parts-work (Internal Family Systems), mindfulness, and creative, experiential exercises to support awareness and integration. I am passionate about helping people befriend their nervous system and connect with their body, emotions, and internal world. Along the way, I honor and embrace the ways in which playfulness, humor, and laughter can create new pathways for connection and healing.

I understand what it’s like to feel disconnected, overwhelmed, caught in the current of stuckness, and unsure how to move forward. I also understand the deep desire to reconnect, and the courage it takes to show up for yourself and begin the healing journey. In our work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist- you’ll get someone who’s walked their own winding path and can hold the space for yours with warmth, compassion, and understanding.

I offer individual therapy sessions at a rate of $125 per 50-minute session. I am also in-network with Medicaid (Colorado Access + CCHA) and Kaiser. You can email me at avery@kincounseling.co.
