Rebecca Lawrence MA, LPCC

Individual and couples psychotherapist in Denver, Colorado

Do you feel like you’re constantly at war within yourself? Maybe you feel like your story will never make sense to other people, let alone yourself.

You don’t have to figure it out all alone.

I’m Rebecca (she/her) and I help people come back to themselves. If you’re feeling disoriented and out of place in your own life, I’m here to help you to come into wholehearted alignment with yourself. Whatever it is that you bring to therapy, I believe that there is room for your voice and your story, so I’m here to help foster your unburdening and becoming.

In individual therapy, we’ll start by exploring your story and the relationships and systems that have led you to where you are today. Then, we’ll develop tools, deepen self-trust, and implement new ways of relating to others that can bring freedom.

In couples therapy, we’ll work to establish new patterns of relating to each other and deepen connection through vulnerability and empathy. I specialize in working with couples who are navigating betrayal, adjusting to parenthood, or reconciling differences within their personalities and stories.

I am dedicated to helping people reimagine their story.

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens. Our work together will include an integration of parts work (Internal Family Systems), AEDP, somatic tools, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to develop a holistic and compassionate understanding of you and your world.

I know how hard it is to unlearn toxic belief systems and to overcome trauma so that you can show up for the people around you. I became a therapist because I’m all too familiar with my own struggles with depression. My experiences in therapy taught me that change IS possible and showed me how healing can happen in relationship.

I know what it’s like to desire change but to feel afraid of doing the work to get there. It’s vulnerable and uncomfortable at times, but I’m committed to walking beside you as you navigate your journey.

I offer individual therapy sessions at a rate of $125 per 50-minute session and couples therapy sessions at $140 per 50-minute session. 80-minute sessions are available for couples at a rate of $175 per session. Sliding scale options are also available. I am also in-network with Medicaid (Colorado Access + CCHA) and Kaiser. You can email me at rebecca@kincounseling.co.
