You’ve built a life that looks like it should feel good, but somehow, something still feels off. Maybe your sensitivity, your depth, or moments of missed connection have left you feeling restless or lonely. You might even understand why you feel the way you do (you’ve thought about it. a lot.) but the insight hasn’t quite translated into feeling better.

I get it, and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.

I’m Megan (she/her), and I work with deep feelers and highly sensitive people who have often felt “too much.” The ones who are self-aware, thoughtful, and ready to explore their inner world, but still find themselves stuck in patterns they can’t think their way out of.

Often, these patterns didn’t come from nowhere, but were shaped in earlier relationships, or in moments where your needs weren’t fully met, where you had to adapt, stay small, or take on more than was yours. And even now, those early experiences can live on in your body and nervous system, showing up in how you relate to yourself and others.

For so many of us, we’ve had to disconnect from our sensitivities, intuition, and needs in order to survive, but doing so can leave us feeling unseen, fragmented, or exhausted. Here, your needs and sensitivities aren’t too much, but a gift, pointing you back to who you’ve always been. Together, we’ll gently explore the experiences that shaped you, tend to the parts of you that adapted to survive, and reconnect with the parts of yourself you’ve longed to reclaim.

I love helping people come back home to themselves.

My training in sensorimotor psychotherapy and EMDR means I have the expertise you needtools to support deep, meaningful healing, but more than that, you want to know you’re working with someone who “gets it”, right?

I get it because I’m someone who has experienced deep hurt, has been insistent about keeping my walls up, and has had to make the hard choice to let them down and “do the work.” I’ve learned to lean into suffering, courage, and compassion and have found that while healing can be scary, it is so worthwhile. I know that sometimes it feels overwhelming to know how to move forward. I’ve been there. I’ll be right there with you as you take those important steps through the pain and towards your fullest self.

When we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who understands what it’s like to hurt, because I’ve been there too. I see us as travelers on the same path to healing and I would be honored to walk with you.

I offer therapy sessions for a rate of $175 per 50 minute session. You can email me at megan@kincounseling.co.
