Katelyn Song MA, LPCC
Individual Psychotherapist in Denver, Colorado
Maybe you’ve found yourself questioning who you are, feeling stuck in patterns that are difficult to change, or navigating a season of life that feels unfamiliar. Perhaps you’re carrying high expectations of yourself, navigating family or cultural expectations, or finding that past experiences and relationships have shaped how you see yourself and the world around you. You may be looking for a space to slow down, make sense of what you’ve experienced, and learn to approach yourself with greater compassion.
I’m Katelyn (she/her), a first-generation Korean American therapist who is passionate about creating safe, affirming, and culturally responsive spaces for my clients. I have a particular commitment to supporting AAPI and BIPOC individuals as they navigate cultural identities, intergenerational expectations, and the complexities of relationships. I understand the impact of attachment wounds and believe healing begins with feeling safe, seen, and understood
I love helping people understand their stories with curiosity, compassion, and without judgment.
I believe clients are the experts of their own lives and already carry strengths and resources that can support their growth. I value building a collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients can explore their experiences and develop a deeper sense of self. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating high expectations of themselves, life transitions, identity formation, relational trauma, and neurodivergence.
My approach integrates person-centered, mindfulness-based, attachment-focused, and psychodynamic modalities. I balance warmth and compassion with curiosity and gentle reflection, while also offering practical tools when helpful. Together, we can explore what has shaped you, strengthen your connection with yourself and others, and create space for meaningful growth and healing.
I offer individual therapy sessions at $135 per 50-minute session. Sliding scale options are available. I’m also in-network with Medicaid (Colorado Access + CCHA) and Kaiser. I currently offer sessions via telehealth and in-person You can email me at katelyns@kincounseling.co.
