Katelyn Miranda MA, LPCC

Somatic therapist in Denver, Colorado

Let's be human beings together on this healing path.

I’m Katelyn (she/her), and I work with the sensitive, deep feelers and thinkers of the world who find themselves overwhelmed by a world that asks them to move faster, adapt more, and want less. The ones that are figuring out how to slow down, reconnect, and remember their unique wisdom, but just need support to navigate it all. I help my clients find authenticity, aliveness, inner safety, and a deeper sense of who they are in this wild world by equipping them with the tools they need to live a life that feels more in alignment with the rhythms that work for them. A life that feels expansive, not small. A life where they can be their whole self.

Many of today’s solutions for feeling disconnected and discouraged are to pull yourself up by your bootstraps and think your way out of it, leading so many to feel like they are doing something wrong or should be able to “think” their way out of struggles. Therapy shouldn’t be another place where we ignore our body's wisdom and feel like we need fixing. Therapy should be about celebrating your uniqueness and letting that lead the way. Instead of a one-size-fits-all model, together we will explore what will actually support healing for you.

I am dedicated to helping people remember their magic.

My training in somatic, social-justice oriented therapy means I have the expertise you need and deserve when exploring the ways our bodies, relationships, identities, and the larger world shape our lives. I blend in relational, attachment, parts work, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches, with plenty of warmth, creativity, humor, and a little whimsy along the way. At the end of the day, you want to know

you’re working with someone who “gets” what it means to be a sensitive, deep feeler while struggling with the grip of people pleasing, identity exploration, grief, neurodivergence, and anxiety... right? I get it because I have walked that road, when nothing feels certain and everything feels like too much. And through my own dedication to this work, I know that sometimes we need space to get to the heart of the matter without all the noise from the outside world. So when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist. You’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through.

First, we’ll gently build the safety, choice, trust, and capacity needed to notice your inner experience without becoming overwhelmed. We won't rush straight into the body, but slowly honor your needs. Then, we’ll explore what feels important to you, while building awareness, tools, and experiences that lead to true transformation. Through our work together, you’ll come to know yourself as a safe home base, while releasing the pressure valve of stress, anxiety, grief, and trauma that has built over time.

I offer individual therapy sessions at $135 per 50-minute session and relational therapy sessions at $150 per 50-minute session. Sliding scale options are available. I’m also in-network with Medicaid (Colorado Access + CCHA) and Kaiser. I currently offer sessions via telehealth and in-person You can email me at katelyn@kincounseling.co.

I’d be honored to partner with you as you heal.

Let’s work together to tend to the wounds that are keeping you stuck.
